Call for Papers: Digitally Competent Future Teachers

The special issue aims to share research findings and good practices on new approaches to used advanced technologies in teacher education responding to the growing demand in digital competences in schools ensuring high quality, technology enhanced learning.    

Topics include, but are not limited to: 

  • New models of teacher education for digital era 
  • Online collaborative learning in teacher education
  • Technology enhanced learning environments in teacher education
  • Learning analytics and artificial intelligence in and for teacher education
  • Innovative use of technologies such as video simulations, mobile eye-tracking, automatic face recognition and various physiological sensors in teacher education contexts 
  • Evaluation, accreditation and certification of teacher digital competences in pre-service / in-service teacher training
  • Teaching and learning as a discourse in developing student digital competences
